Soque River Fly Fishing
Soque River Fishing Guides and Trips
The Soque River runs through the heart of Clarkesville, Ga before reaching it’s confluence with the Chattahochee River downstream of town. While it does support a population of naturally reproducing rainbow trout, and can provide excellent small stream trout fishing, the Soque river is primarily regarded as one of the most premier Trophy Trout Streams in the area. This river held the state record Brown Trout for some time, and still produces monsters every day. Most of our fishing is done on the middle section of the river on roughly a mile and a half of Privately owned Trophy Trout water. Anglers can expect most fish to range between 16 and 20 inches and to provide a challenge to even the most experienced anglers to land.
We are able to host up to 10 anglers with relative ease on our Soque River Properties, and all fishing is done on foot. Anglers are encouraged to book as far in advance as possible however as spots fill up very fast certain times of the year.
