Corporate Fly Fishing for Atlanta Companies
When the boardroom isn't the answer. Bowman Fly Fishing runs corporate experiences for Atlanta companies — team building, client entertainment, executive retreats — on private North Georgia water 90 minutes north of the city. Up to 20 anglers across our 10 guides on water that fishes harder than anything you can book on your own.
See Corporate Trips Build Your TripBuilt for groups, not individual anglers
Most fly fishing guide services optimize for solo or pair trips. Bowman runs them too — but corporate is where we shine. Up to 20 anglers across multiple guides on the same private water section, coordinated meals, custom branded trip swag, and a logistics layer that handles 4-15 executives without anyone feeling like cattle. We've hosted teams from BlackRock, Faith Driven Investor groups, and Atlanta-area Fortune 500s.
Why private water matters for corporate
On public water, your team disperses across 200 yards of riverbank fighting other anglers for runs. On private water — the kind we have on the Soque, Etowah vineyard, and Noontootla — you get an entire section to yourselves, real shots at trophy fish, and a setup where executives who've never held a fly rod end up landing their first trout the same morning.
What's included for corporate trips
All gear (rod, reel, line, flies, waders, boots), licensed guides matched to skill levels, lunch options coordinated with the trip, transportation between sections of water during the trip, and post-trip photos. Pricing scales per person — half-day at $190/person, full-day at $260/person — significantly cheaper per head than booking individual trips.
Common questions
Corporate Fly Fishing for Atlanta Companies — FAQ
What's the typical group size for corporate fly fishing trips?
Most corporate trips run 6-15 anglers. We can host up to 20 across our 10 guides on private water for the right group. Smaller is fine too — a 4-person executive retreat works great.
Do team members need any fly fishing experience?
No. Most corporate trip attendees have never fly fished before. Our guides teach casting and reading water in the first 30 minutes; most beginners land their first trout before lunch. We ask each company to share rough experience levels in advance so we pair guides appropriately.
How much does a corporate fly fishing trip cost?
Corporate pricing is $190/person for half-day and $260/person for full-day, all-inclusive of gear and water access. A 12-person half-day runs $2,280; a 12-person full-day runs $3,120. Custom add-ons (catered lunch on the river, branded trip swag, photographer) are quoted separately.
How far is the private water from Atlanta?
Roughly 75-90 minutes north of Midtown depending on which river. Most corporate groups meet at a coordinated parking lot on the river around 8 AM. We can arrange a chartered van from a meeting point in Atlanta if helpful.
How far in advance should we book a corporate trip?
Spring (April-May) and fall (October-November) weekday slots fill 4-8 weeks out. Weekends fill faster. For groups of 10+, plan 2-3 months ahead so we can coordinate guides. Call (706) 963-0435 or email info@bowmanflyfishing.com to start.
