Cleveland is fly fishing country, and Bowman is just down the road in Dahlonega. Most of our private water is 15 to 45 minutes from town, and the Soque trophy beats are the closest.
Water you can't walk onto
People in Cleveland already know the public creeks. When they call Bowman it's for the water they can't usually reach: the deep private beats on the Soque, the Etowah and Noontootla that aren't open to walk-up anglers.
A half day from Cleveland is about five hours start to finish, with four of them fishing.
The Soque
| Soque trip | 1 angler | 2 anglers | 3 anglers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Half day | $400 | $550 | $675 |
| Full day | $550 | $725 | $900 |
| Dragonfly half day | $520 | $720 | $920 |
| Dragonfly full day | $645 | $900 | $1,150 |
Dragonfly is the premium beat for the largest fish. The Soque page explains the difference. Plan around the summer break: Bowman typically stays off the Soque from June 10 to September 20.
