Daniel Bowman has been guiding around here since 2014, and the team has grown to ten guides. Over those years Bowman has negotiated leases on more than 10 miles of private water, so most of what you fish with us isn't open to the public.
Trips don't start at the office. Your guide sends exact directions and a meeting time the day before, and you meet at the water you're fishing.

Seasons
Spring and fall are the best months on the private water, and they book up first. Winter is quieter and still fishes, especially on spring-fed and dam-fed water.
Summer is different. Bowman usually rests the Etowah private water from June 15 and the Soque from June 10, both until September 20, because the water gets too warm for the trout. In those months the Toccoa floats are the trout trip to book.
