| Early morning | Drive up GA-400, about 45 to 60 minutes |
| Mid-morning | Meet the guide, get fitted for waders, short casting lesson |

That's four hours on private water for $400, or $550 if you bring a friend.
Lake or stream
Lake Lanier is right next to Cumming for stripers and spotted bass. For wild and trophy trout on private streams, you head north. Bowman also runs striper floats on the Chattahoochee from late March into early September, priced from $425 per boat, if you'd like a bigger, harder-pulling fish.
Cumming sends Bowman a lot of repeat clients. A good order for a second and third trip is a Soque trophy day, then a Toccoa float.
