From Athens

The Drive From Athens

From Athens, head north on Highway 441 toward Demorest, then 384 to the Soque corridor. Plan ~110 minutes one way. Many Athens groups stay overnight in Helen or Clarkesville and fish two days.

Athens is a 2-day-trip market for us. UGA alumni groups, professors, and serious wild-trout anglers — they want the Soque or Noontootla and don't mind the drive.

Whether this is your first cast or you've been fishing for decades, our guides match the trip and the water to your skill level. We provide everything — rods, reels, flies, waders if you need them, a guided meal on the river. Just show up with a fishing license and we handle the rest.

Multi-Day Soque

Most Athens groups book two days back-to-back: one Soque, one Noontootla. We coordinate lodging recommendations.

Ready to Fish?

Most Athens anglers are surprised by how close the best fly fishing in the Southeast really is. Reserve your trip and we'll handle the rest.
